ExerciseOpt out of sale / sharing
Opt out of the “sale” or “share” of your data, or its use for targeted advertising.

UpdateThese rights are not absolute and may apply only in certain circumstances. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them, and may need to verify your identity before processing a request. If you visit our website with a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal enabled, we will treat it as an opt-out request for that browser or device, and you do not need an account to use it. To exercise your rights, contact us at support@wellivu.com; we will respond within the time required by law (generally the timeframe required by applicable law, such as 45 days under the CCPA). We may need to verify your identity first, and you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. If we offer a financial incentive, such as a discount for joining our email list, we will describe its material terms when you enroll.
The full policy
How we use your personal information
- Provide, tailor & improve the Services. To perform our contract with you, process payments, fulfill orders, manage your account, arrange shipping, facilitate returns and exchanges, enable reviews, and create a customized shopping experience.
- Marketing & advertising. To send promotional communications by email, text or mail, and to show you online advertisements, including based on items you previously viewed or added to your cart.
- Security & fraud prevention. To authenticate your account, provide a secure payment experience, and detect, investigate or act on possible fraudulent, illegal or malicious activity.
- Communicating with you. To provide customer support, be responsive to you, and maintain our business relationship.
- Legal reasons. To comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, and enforce or investigate potential violations of our terms or policies.
How we disclose personal information
In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate purposes subject to this Privacy Policy, including:
- With Shopify, vendors and other third parties who perform services on our behalf (e.g. IT, payment processing, analytics, customer support, cloud storage, fulfillment and shipping).
- With business and marketing partners to provide marketing services and advertise to you. You can opt out of those uses here.
- When you direct, request or consent to our disclosure of certain information to third parties.
- With our affiliates or otherwise within our corporate group.
- In connection with a business transaction, to comply with legal obligations, or to enforce our terms and protect our rights and the rights of others.
Sale & sharing of your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising and analytics cookies (such as Meta, Google, and TikTok) may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. In the preceding 12 months, we may have shared the following categories for this purpose: identifiers, internet or network activity, and commercial information. You can opt out at any time through our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page or by enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor as a valid opt-out. In the preceding 12 months, we also disclosed identifiers, commercial information, financial information, and internet or network activity to our service providers for business purposes. We do not sell or share your sensitive personal information.
Cookies & tracking technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the store, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and deliver relevant advertising. These include strictly necessary technologies (checkout, security), analytics technologies (such as Google Analytics), and advertising technologies (such as the Meta Pixel). You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings, our cookie banner where available, or a GPC signal.
Sensitive personal information
Some information we collect — such as payment or financial account details and account login credentials — may be considered “sensitive” under California law. We use it only for the purposes permitted by law: to process your orders, secure your account, and provide the Services. We do not use it to infer characteristics about you. Because our use is limited to these permitted purposes, no separate “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” request is required; you may still contact us with any questions.
Legal bases for processing (EEA / UK)
Where the GDPR applies, we process your personal information on these legal bases: performance of a contract (to fulfill your orders and provide the Services), legitimate interests (to secure, improve, and market our Services), consent (for optional marketing and advertising cookies, which you may withdraw at any time), and compliance with a legal obligation. Where the GDPR applies, you also have the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time, and you may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. If you are in the EEA or UK and require an Article 27 representative, contact us and we will provide one where required.
Relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve them. Information you submit may be transmitted to and shared with Shopify and third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside. To provide certain enhanced features, Shopify may use personal information collected about your interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify. In these circumstances, Shopify is responsible for processing your personal information. Learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy or the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Third-party websites and links
The Services may provide links to websites or online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites not affiliated or controlled by us, you should review their privacy and security policies. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites. Our inclusion of such links does not, by itself, imply any endorsement.
Children's data
The Services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, you may contact us to request that it be deleted. As of the effective date, we do not have actual knowledge that we “share” or “sell” personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
Security & retention of your information
No security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee “perfect security.” Any information you send us may not be secure while in transit, so we recommend you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive information.
We keep your personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Order and transaction records are retained for up to 7 years to meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations; account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward; marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or object; and support communications are retained as needed to resolve your inquiry and keep records. When no longer needed, information is deleted or anonymized.
Complaints
If you have complaints about how we process your personal information, please contact us using the details below. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to appeal our decision or lodge your complaint with your local data protection authority.
International transfers
We may transfer, store and process your personal information outside the country you live in. If we transfer your personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms like the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (or equivalent), unless the transfer is to a country determined to provide an adequate level of protection.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised policy on this website, update the “Last updated” date, and provide notice as required by applicable law.
